Vintage horse lorry offers unique glamping experience

If you like the idea of camping but are worried about how much kit you need, or your ability to remain cheerful under canvas in inclement weather ,then glamping may be the ideal self catering holiday for you! Glamping is a fusion of glamour and camping, and combines the best elements of camping with some home comforts.

When you stay in our cosy glamping horse lorry you will have space and privacy to unwind as your only neighbours are a flock of sheep. The glamping lorry is snug whatever the weather, with a king-size bed area and wood burning stove. The lorry is in a lovely location in the heart of the Comeragh mountains with stunning views in all directions.

Nire Valley Glamping also has tents available to use with the lorry.

It makes an ideal base for walkers, nature lovers and those wishing to have a retreat from modern life. Come and stay for a weekend break and walk to the Nire Valley lakes, or stay for a holiday and see what this beautiful and unspoilt area of west Waterford has to offer with seaside and mountain scenery.

Nire Valley Glamping is set in a peaceful location and accessible to Clonmel , Dungarvan, and the local village of Ballymacarbry.

Nire valley Glamping is ideally located in the heart of the Comeragh mountains in County Waterford, Ireland and a short drive from many local attractions.

The Nire Valley is a very picturesque area with beautiful stretches of river, mixed woodland and mountain scenery. It is abundant with wildlife with red squirrels, otters and pine-martins in the area, as well as the sheep living on the open mountain.
