The lorry is ideally suited for 2 adults but can accommodate 3 adults (with 2 sharing the king-size bed and 1 person in the fold up bed).
There are also tents available to use in conjunction with the lorry or guests can use their own tent pitched beside the lorry – contact us for prices.
The lorry has been lovingly converted and includes:
- A king size bed area above the above the cab with memory foam mattress and soft lighting#
- A single fold up bed with memory foam mattress
- 3 ring Gas hob
- Sink with cold water supply

- Wood burning stove and supply of logs

Outside:
There is a separate compost toilet / hot outdoor shower hut and a sink.
The lorry has its own deck with table and chairs with fabulous views to the “Comeragh Gap”.
There is also a hammock and barbeque.
The lorry is parked on our smallholding with sheep and horses and is set in its own field. There are twelve acres in total, with an area of woodland which guests are welcome to explore.
The lorry is a great place to observe wild life with red squirrels, pheasants, herons and birds of prey.

The glamping lorry is not suitable for very young children due to the wood burning stove and access.
There is no wifi however there is a good internet connection for guests using “Three” network for their mobile telephone. (Other phone networks may not in the area.)
There is a shop and petrol station in Ballymacarbry village which sells food, newspapers, alcohol etc, and Clonmel has a very good choice of supermarkets.
Nire Valley Glamping is accessible by walking, bicycle or car but due to the scenic location is not served by public transport. The cost of a taxi from Clonmel is €35 euros approx.
